X1e Electric Bike

The X1e electric bike is a first generation proof-of-concept experimental bicycle conversion. Utilizing an easy to machine and lightweight aluminum structure, the majority of mass added to the bike is from the motor and the batteries. This bike uses multiple feedback systems managed by a standalone microcontroller, making this bike truly smart by providing throttle smoothing, burst modes, cruise control, brake safety cut, and automatic shifting.

X1i Industrial E-trike

The X1i Industrial E-trike is a valuable asset for large scale plant operations to more efficiently transport human resources and help team members focus their energy on the job, instead of expending it pedaling for miles. Using common mechanical and electrical systems, in-house maintenance will have no problem maintaining a fleet of these inexpensive tricycles. This proof-of-concept will show potential customers the simplicity and effectiveness of electric tricycles.

X1d Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

Taking mobile electronics and RF communications to new heights, literally, we built an electric Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAS) that uses wireless video transmission, GPS and common radio controlled technology to create a fully immersive flight experience with unmatched surveilance capabilities. Our first prototype is based on a fixed wing design because of cost, reliability and efficiency, but multi-copter technology has advantages such as easier launches and landing, and hover ability. We feel their are clear synergies between wireless remote vehicles and performance electric ground vehicles, forseeing potential for developing high performance unmanned electric aircraft and remote controlled unmanned ground vehicles.

Over Power Wheels

One day while visiting my friend, I saw his young daughter struggling with her Kidtrax Power Wheels ride-on toy. I observed three main problems: steering effort, accelerator, and reverse. I told him we must load it into the back of my truck and bring it to the shop for upgrades. Why would Power Axle do this? We like kids and we like to have fun too.

X2e Weapon XXX

Based on the Weapon X Downhill MTB bicycle frame, this will be one of the most powerful full suspension E-bikes to hit the pavement, with 200 mm (8 in) of suspension travel in the front and rear. Normally, ebikes and conversion kits range from 250-1500 watts, for perspective, Lance Armstrong can sustain ~400 watts. The X2e Weapon XXX will be powered by a 30,000 watt (30kW) rated AC motor combined with a drivetrain from a Yamaha 250 dirtbike, this 80kg vehicle will accelerate at an incredible rate of speed.

X1v Performance Hybrid-Electric Drive

The new paradigm in bolt-on performance using electricity to put torque to the pavement. This aftermarket hybrid-electric drive system will enhance towing capabilities and boost acceleration performance much like aftermarket systems such as Nitrous Oxide, Turbochargers, and Superchargers while significantly reducing the dependence on high octane fossil fuels, volatile compressed gasses, engine modifications, or engine tuning. Recharging will use a combination of advanced regenerative braking, supplemented by the vehicle's power system.
